 Dean’s Speech:

Given the advancement of science in all related branches, it is clear that the medical laboratory medicine is no exception. Progress in complicated and computerized laboratory equipment and use of molecular methods have results in increased need to train individuals with high knowledge levels about laboratories.

Therefore, the aim of this course is education of individuals, who can work in laboratories based on the current need related to laboratory advancements.

The main mission of Department of Medical Laboratory Medicine in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences is in line with the mentioned goal of the course. By completing its faculty members, this department has aimed to scientifically improve and educate talented students of this field.

Another purpose of the Department of Medical Laboratory Medicine is growing and distributing research thinking in the field of laboratory works, which something we really need due to significant shortages in this area.
